Ralph C. Pierson, 93, of Dixon, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at Heritage Square, Dixon. He was a teacher for 30 years in the Dixon Public Schools.

Ralph was born February 19, 1919 in Princeton, the son of Charles and Mary Pierson. He married Frances “Jay” Dahl on October 18, 1947 in Princeton. He served in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Dixon.

Survivors include his wife of Dixon; two sons, Philip (Evelyn) Pierson of Bourbonnais and Paul (Ruth) Pierson of Loves Park.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 8, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church, Dixon. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Burial of cremains will be at Oakland Cemetery, Princeton.

A memorial has been established to the First United Methodist Church, Dixon.
