Joseph S. Rebolitti, 95, of Dixon, formerly of Buffalo Grove, died Friday, November 16, 2012, at Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital, Dixon.

Joseph was born October 31, 1917, in Chicago, IL, the son of Anthony and Jenny (Lascherda) Rebolitti. He married Lorrayne Emerson on September 11, 1949, in Chicago. She preceded him in death in 1993. Joseph loved his kids, grandkids, great grandkids, and dancing with his wife. He served in the United States Air Force during W.W. II and was honored to participate in the recent Honor Flight trip to Washington D.C. Joseph was a volunteer at KSB Hospital in Dixon, CGH Hospital in Sterling, and the Reagan Boyhood Home in Dixon. He sold bingo cards at the Elk’s Club and enjoyed yard work and making special pumpkins for his friends and family for Halloween.

Survivors include two daughters, Jolene (the late Hal) Moroney of Dixon, Linnea (Dale) Rietow of Mundelein; four grandchildren, Kirsten (Tim) Crawford, Marc (Melissa) Feit, both of Dixon, Eric (Marianne) Rietow of Plainfield, Bret Rietow of Chicago; seven great grandchildren, Kyle, Ashley, and Jordyn Crawford, Bryce and Brady Feit, Addison and Jaxson Rietow; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was also preceded in death by four brothers, John, Mike, Harry, and Louis; three sisters, Murphy, Millie, and Louise.

Visitation will be from 3 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 19, 2012, at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, Dixon. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Vincent O. Marrandino, Director of Pastoral Care at KSB Hospital, Dixon, officiating. Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.

A memorial has been established.
